SEASON ONE
The Living Records odyssey begins with the weekly introduction of five of LA’s most exciting new musical talents. From hip-hop to alternative to R&B, these five performers are certain to become some of your favorite new artists.
S1:E1 JASON VANCE
MR NO is an indie pop act from Los Angeles. MR NO is the stage name of 17 year old songwriter and producer Jason Vance. Over the past two years he has been in his bedroom writing and recording an album's worth of songs and will soon begin sharing them with the world. With influences ranging from Billie Eilish to the Strokes to the Rolling Stones, he has managed to create a very new and listenable sound.
S1:E3 TYLER GANUS
Tyler Ganus was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ganus is a baseball player by day, musician by night, and actor in-between. He is all about spreading love and living life to the fullest. Ganus is working on some singles, collaborations with other artists, and an album to debut in the summer of 2019.
S1:E2 ASHER 1300
Asher Stevens is a 17 year old rapper and singer/songwriter, known as Asher 1300. Asher began playing drums at the early age of 5, and eventually learning to DJ in elementary school. Asher 1300 has been releasing singles for over a year, with songs reaching as high as 33k on SoundCloud, and is currently working on his debut project, set to release in early 2019.
S1:E4 SWAY
Sway enjoys creating different styles and versions of art, yet singing is her passion. The words in her songs are inspired by real life scenarios of hers creating more emotional connections to her lyrics. She aspires to impact others through her music and force her listeners to get used to saying “fuck it.”
S1:E5 JWAY
Jordan Batie, otherwise known as Jway. Batie is a 21 years old artist from Louisville, KY, but currently lives in LA. His favorite genres of music growing up were hip-hop and RnB/soul.
